Hills, sea, nature, people. The green woody hills
of Montioni and Poggio Neri Parks, the white beaches
with their dunes, the luxuriant Mediterranean
maquis of Rimigliano and Sterpaia Parks let you
discover in front of the Elba Island the suggestive
natural environment of the Cornia Valley.
The park guides will let you know and appreciate
the wod.
You can spend your days between nature and archaeology,
between the promontory of Piombino and the Gulf
of Baratti: in the archeological park of Baratti
and Populonia you can visit the rests of the Etruscan
town of Populonia, an ancient trading port for
the Elba iron. If you go up towards Campiglia
Mounts you find in the archaeological mining park
of San Silvestro a suggestive underground way
in a mining gallery and a perfectly preserved
